Since 1986, Michael Djavaherian has been meeting the needs of his clients through diligent and focused effort on their behalf.

Graduating from Georgetown University in 1982, Michael worked in the US Senate as a legislative aide, then attended Georgetown University Law Center, earning his degree in 1986. While in law school, Michael worked part time as a congressional aide, and found time to coach football for the Hoyas as an assistant. Graduating in 1986, Michael took the bar that summer, and began his law practice soon after.

From 1986 to 1991, Michael worked in the litigation department of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton's San Diego office. In 1991, Michael founded the Law Office of Michael Djavaherian, continuing a business litigation practice and expanding into a broad range of civil and commercial practice areas.

Michael's clients range from multinational corporations to individuals and small businesses. He prides himself on providing big firm service, without the big firm billing rate. Low overhead and efficient application of technology help us keep rates low.

Business Litigation Michael has extensive experience in just about every type of business litigation, including banking and finance, real property, partnership and corporate, securities, retail (public liability), insurance, real estate development, contracting, construction defect, administrative, government contracts, antitrust, unlawful competition, fraud and employment.	General Civil Litigation Michael has developed expertise in many non-business types of litigation, including basic personal injury, miscellaneous types of negligent or intentional torts (for example, false arrest), and state licensing matters (Contractors, Auto Dealers, etc.).
Commercial Services Michael has advised start-ups in the high tech industry, as well as established companies in many other industries, with regard to ongoing operations, from formation, to capital investment and investor issues, to board matters, to mergers and acquisitions, to public and private placements, and with respect to their day to day legal concerns, such as human resources, lease, and vendor issues. Michael has drafted license agreements, supply contracts, purchase agreements and just about any legal agreement involved in a company's activities.	Small Business and Family Services Need to incorporate or form a limited partnership? We can do that. Got a customer that owes money, or a vendor that failed to perform? We can help there, too. Michael has handled homeowner issues and small claims appeals for individuals. Many other types of issues that confront the small business and families can be handled by our office.
